West Ryde Station - Bus Shelter

The City of Ryde is committed to the delivery and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure. As part of the commitment, Council will install a new bus shelter at West Ryde Station on Ryedale Road, West Ryde (near the corner of Herbert St, West Ryde).

What will the work involve?
  • Relocation of existing seats
  • Upgrade of the bus stop to ensure Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance including tactile indicators
  • Installation of a bus shelter with seats at the existing bus stop ID 211428
  • Installation of bins
When will the work take place?

Work will commence from Monday 10 June 2024 and is anticipated to be completed within two weeks by Monday 24 June 2024, weather permitting. The work will be undertaken from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00am and 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 3.00pm.

What are the changed conditions during the work?

On-street traffic access may be affected at times during this work. The contractor will coordinate directly with impacted residents, businesses and users when this is required.

Traffic control will be in place to manage traffic and pedestrian movement safely throughout the work.
