The City of Ryde is committed to the delivery of high-quality infrastructure, including upgrades to improve pedestrian safety, access and amenity.

As part of this commitment, Council will be upgrading the pedestrian lights at the following pedestrian crossings:

• 7 Bay Drive, Meadowbank
• 60 Badajoz Road, Ryde
• 22 Lincoln Street, Eastwood
• 126 Buffalo Road, Ryde
• 31 Oxford Street, Gladesville
• 10 Chatham Road, Ryde
• 85 Epping Road, Macquarie Park
• 2 Parsonage Street, Meadowbank

What will the works involve at 7 Bay Drive, Meadowbank?

• Supply, install and commission multi-function poles including required underground works
• Temporary road resurfacing works within the works area
• Footpath and road permanent restoration (works to be undertaken at a later date) 

When will the works take place at 7 Bay Drive, Meadowbank?

Night works will commence from Monday 27 November 2023 and are expected to be completed in one week, weather permitting. The works are planned to be carried out Monday to Friday between 7.00pm and 5.00am.

Further works to finalise the upgrade are expected to take place in early 2024.
