Stormwater Upgrade and Road works at Hedgeland Close

The City of Ryde recently undertook stormwater drainage and road works at Hedgeland Close, Meadowbank. These works were part of Council’s Stormwater Improvement Program to benefit the efficiency of the drainage network and to provide a new vehicle turning area.

Completed works included protective works on existing and underground utilities including an oil pipeline, sewer main and gas main, as well as the reconfiguration of the underground drainage, street lighting changes, and continuation of the gabion wall between the upstream channel and the reconstruction of the shared user path.
