The City of Ryde is currently upgrading the pathways and boardwalks around the Field of Mars reserve to help improves accessibility.

This project, funded by the NSW Governments ‘Places to roam’ program aims to see the creation of DDA accessible areas that allow people, of all abilities enjoy the natural environment.

Over the next few months council will oversee the renewal of the pathways leading into the reserve, sections of the boardwalk along the creek, access to the amenities and picnic shelters, parking, and pavement as part of the adopted Masterplan.
