Council’s Neighbourhood Centre Renewal Program aims to assist in the provision of amenity, economic vibrancy and livability within our Neighbourhood Centres.

As a part of this program in September 2020, Council conducted a ‘Have Your Say’ survey and community consultation workshops to understand your thoughts on upgrading the Coxs Road Neighbourhood Centre. This feedback was valuable in forming its design prior to construction.

Works included

Works included rebuilding of the entire streetscape, including undergrounding the overhead powerlines, removing old power poles and installing multifunction poles.

Also included were drainage works, footpath works, standalone shade structures, new landscaping, new plaza area, tree planting and street furniture.
