As part of the City of Ryde’s commitment to creating neighbourhoods that thrive and grow through sustainable design and planning, Council upgraded Coulter Street (between Trim Place and Linsley Street) in the Gladesville Town Centre.

Works involved

Construction works in Coulter Street  included:

  • Increasing the footpath space, landscaping improvements and reconstructing the asphalt road with decorative pavers
  • Improving safety and access for people and vehicles and
  • Improving traffic movements 
  • Installing multifunction poles with street lighting
  • Installing new seating, feature landscaping and decorative lighting to make the area more attractive
  • Asphalt works on Linsley Street
