The City of Ryde is committed to the delivery and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure. As part of this commitment, a new footpath is being constructed on Truscott Street (from Coxs Road to Edmondson Street), North Ryde.

What will the work involve?

• Construction of new concrete footpath along the southern side of Truscott Street (from Coxs Road to Betty Hendry Parade); and along the northern side (from Betty Henry Parade to Edmondson Street).
• Kerb ramp upgrades at a number of locations along the footpath works.

When will the work take place?

Work is expected to commence Monday 27 May 2024 and anticipated to be completed by end June/early July 2024, weather permitting. Construction hours are Monday to Friday and some Saturdays between the hours of 7.00am and 5.00pm.

How will traffic be affected during the construction?

Driveway access and onsite parking will be affected at times during the work. The contractor will liaise with affected residents in advance of any restrictions and work to minimise any inconvenience. Traffic control will be in place when required to assist with access through the area.
