City of Ryde is committed to ensuring that our community has access to safe, accessible and high-quality public spaces. As part of our Footpath Renewal Program, we will be upgrading the footpath pavement along sections of Peach Tree Road and Lachlan Avenue, Macquarie Park.

What will the work involve?

The footpath work will include the replacement of the current paths with new concrete surfaces, including several driveway crossings.

When will the work take place?

The work is scheduled to commence from the week beginning 20 January 2025 and will take approximately 8 working days to complete, weather permitting.

The planned construction hours are Mondays to Fridays, between 7am and 4pm.

What are the changed conditions during the work?

Pedestrian access will be altered for the duration of this work.

The driveway crossings will require closure for up to 2 days for the work. Affected properties will be further advised by the contractor upon commencement of work.
