There will be upcoming Footpath Renewal work outside the commercial properties at Julius Avenue, North Ryde, from the corner of Delhi Road to Newbigin Close. The City of Ryde is committed to ensuring that the community has access to safe, accessible, and high-quality public spaces. As part of our Footpath Renewal Program, we will be upgrading the footpath pavement outside these properties.

What will the work involve?

The footpath work will include the replacement of the entire length of damaged footpath with new concrete surfaces. No driveway crossings or access to properties are affected.

Pedestrian access will be altered for the duration of this work and traffic conditions will be altered at certain times during the day.

Some noise disturbance can be expected at times while this work is completed, however the work will be managed to minimise disturbance to nearby businesses as much as practically possible.

When will the works take place?

Construction is due to start from Monday 20 May 2024 and last approximately 6 days, weather permitting.

Construction hours are typically Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 4:00pm.
