City of Ryde is committed to ensuring that all families have access to safe, accessible, and high-quality parks. As part of our Playground Renewal Program, we will be constructing a new neighbourhood playground in Adventure Park, Ryde.

What will the work include?

The upgrade includes removal of the current playground and the installation of extensive new timber themed multi activity play equipment with slides, swings including a toddler seat, and springer play equipment. In addition, there will be a new path through the playground with seating.

When will the work occur?

Construction is expected to commence from Tuesday 15 April 2025 and is anticipated to be completed by early June 2025, weather permitting.

Work will primarily be undertaken from Monday to Friday between 7.00am - 4.00pm.

What are the changed conditions during the work?

Temporary safety fencing will be installed to barricade the site prior to the demolition and construction.

Some noise disturbance can be expected at times while this work is completed, however the work will be managed to minimise disturbance to nearby residents as much as practically possible.
