City of Ryde is committed to the delivery and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure. As part of this commitment, for stormwater improvement works, new pipelines will be installed at Richmond Street, Jackson Crescent, Mason Street and Doig Avenue, Denistone East.

What will the stormwater improvement works involve?
  • Construction of new stormwater pipelines with drainage pits.
  • Reconstruction of some section of concrete footpaths and modifications of some driveways to improve surface water runoffs.
  • Road restoration works upon completion.  
When will the works take place?

Works are planned to commence on Monday 10 February 2025 and anticipated to be completed by June/July 2025, weather permitting. Construction hours are Monday to Friday and some Saturdays (if required) between 7.00am and 5.00pm.

How will traffic be affected during the construction?

Driveway access and on-street parking will be affected at times during the works. Our construction team will liaise with you in advance of any restrictions and work to minimise any inconvenience. Traffic control will be in place when required to assist with access through the area.
