In 2008, Bevillesta Pty Ltd sought approval for the construction of two residential flat buildings above the shopping centre together with the formal allocation of car parking spaces.
In 2009, Bevillesta Pty Ltd sought approval for the construction of two 4 storey commercial towers above the approved Top Ryde City shopping centre including allocation of car parking.
The original Top Ryde shopping centre was erected in 1957 and was the first Post War retail mall based on the American model.
