Abandoned Shopping Trolleys

Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act 2021 and the accompanying regulation are now in effect. The new act will help to protect valuable public spaces across the City of Ryde from abandoned and unattended items and animals. Find out More.

If you see an abandoned shopping trolley in the City of Ryde, we encourage you to report these to the appropriate retailer for free collection. 

  1. Aldi trolley tracker (for Aldi trolleys only): Phone 13 25 34/13 ALDI or report online at help.aldi.com.au/s/abandoned-trolley-or-catalog.
  2. Coles Trolley Collect (for Coles, Kmart, 1st Choice and Target trolleys): Phone 1800 876 553, report online at www.coles.com.au/customer-service-abandoned-trolley or download the free Coles app via the App Store or Google Play.
  3. Trolley Tracker (for Big W, Dan Murphy's and Woolworths trolleys): Phone 1800 641 497, report online at www.trolleytracker.com.au or download the free Trolley Tracker App via the App Store or Google Play. 
  4. IGA trolleys should be reported directly to the store or online at supamartiga.com.au/report-an-abandoned-supamart-trolley.
