Wallumetta Room (Ryde Library) and West Ryde Library Meeting Room

Both meeting rooms may occasionally be available for free use by not-for-profit community groups and Council sponsored events that are compatible with the Library’s educational role.

Rooms may not be used for commercial or business purposes. Please note Council has a variety of Community venues that can be hired.

When applicable, Wallumetta Room can only be booked two weeks in advance with a minimum of 8 people required to book.

West Ryde Library Meeting Room is available for group bookings of 8— 20 people for up to 2 hours per day. All bookings must be scheduled to finish 15 minutes prior to library closing time, to ensure a safe and efficient pack up and exit.

When not in use, these rooms are open for the public to use as a shared space for quiet individual study.

To submit an enquiry to utilise Wallumetta or West Ryde Meeting Rooms, please complete the Meeting Room request form. Submission of this form does not confirm a booking. All requests will be reviewed and responded to within 5 business days.
