City of Ryde “Name Our Library Cat” Competition – Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply:
- The Promoter is the City of Ryde of 3 Richardson Place, North Ryde NSW 2113, ABN number 81 621 292 610.
- The City of Ryde “Name Our Library Cat” Competition commences at 10:00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday 7 April and ends at 5:00pm AEST on Monday 28 April.
- Entry into the promotion is open to valid members of the City of Ryde Libraries.
- To enter the competition, participants their name suggestions via the online form at: www.ryde.nsw.gov.au or completing the entry form at one of the City of Ryde Library branches.
- Participation in the competition by completing the above step is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Entries into the competition are not limited.
- City of Ryde staff members, Councillors and their families and any promotional partners are not able to enter the competition.
- Names will be judged by library staff and the winner will receive a $50 Harry Hartog gift card which can be collected at a City of Ryde Library branch.
- The Promoter will contact winners within a week of the closing date and provide details of how to redeem the prize.
- If the prize is not claimed within five (5) working days of the winner being contacted, the relevant winner will forgo the prize and the Promoter will contact the runner-up to receive the prize.
- The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The Prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
- The Prize is subject to any conditions imposed by the Promoter.
- The winning entries may be published in City of Ryde documents and on City of Ryde social media channels and used for City of Ryde Libraries programs and operations. They may also be published on the ryde.nsw.gov.au website and in local press.
- By entering the competition, the winners consent to their names being published as winners of the competition and to participate in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion in printed and/or online formats.
- City of Ryde will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, by the closing date and time, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
- By entering the Competition, participants agree that the City of Ryde will have sole and exclusive rights to the submitted name and may license, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and translate the submitted name in connection with the Competition and the promotion of the library cat and City of Ryde Libraries generally without any consideration or fee payable to you other than the prize referred to in these terms. Participants irrevocably and unconditionally transfer any and all intellectual property and ownership rights in the name to the City of Ryde when they submit their entry.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award any of the Prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
Definitions
“Participant” means any person who enters the “Name Our Library Cat” Competition.
“Promoter” means the City of Ryde of Level 1, Building 0, Riverview Business Park, 3 Richardson Place, North Ryde NSW 2113.
