The following terms and conditions apply:
1. The Promoter is City of Ryde Libraries of 1 Pope Street, Ryde NSW 2112, ABN number 81 621 292 610.
2. The City of Ryde “2025 Library Lovers Competition” commences at 9:30am Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (AEDST) on Monday 3 February 2025 and ends at 9:00pm AEDST on Friday 28 February 2025.
3. Entry into the promotion is open to members of City of Ryde libraries aged 18 and over.
4. To enter the competition entrants must visit a City of Ryde Library Branch to collect a library lovers loyalty card and start collecting stamps throughout the Competition period. If you collect three (3) stamps you receive a limited library lovers fan. Fans are limited. Tote bags are limited. If you collect six (6) stamps you receive a limited library lovers tote bag and you can go into the draw to win a $200 Shopping Voucher prize draw. Tote bags are limited. Once you collect at least 6 stamps, fill out your details on the loyalty card, hand it in to your local branch so we can put you into the draw.
5. If participants choose to, they can collect all ten (10) stamps and receive an extra entry to the prize draw.
6. Stamps can be collected by completing various activities displayed on the reverse of the loyalty card. Ask Library Staff at the front desk to stamp your card when you have completed an activity.
7. Participation in the competition by completing the above step is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
8. Entries are limited to one (1) per person.
9. Families of City of Ryde staff members and Councillors and any promotional partners are not able to enter the competition.
10. There is one (1) major prize consisting of the $200 Shopping Centre voucher.
11. This competition is a game of chance. All valid entries received during the competition period will be entered into the competition. The draw will take place week beginning Monday 3 March 2025.
12. A winner will be selected at random and contacted via phone or email.
13. The Winner will be announced on City of Ryde Libraries social media channels.
14. The recipient can collect their prize from the City of Ryde Libraries – Ryde Branch.
15. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within seven (7) days, the winner will forfeit their prize. A new random prize draw will take place.
16. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The Prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
17. The Prize is subject to any conditions imposed by the Promoter.
18. The Promoter recognises that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
19. By entering the competition, the winner consents to their name being published as winner of the competition and to participate in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion in printed and/or online formats.
20. All decisions made by the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. City of Ryde will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, by the closing date and time, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award any of the Prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
Definitions
“Participant” means any person who enters the “20254 Library Lovers Competition”.
“Promoter” means the City of Ryde Libraries of 1 Pope Street, Ryde NSW 2113.
