The City of Ryde is seeking feedback on a proposal to install ‘NO STOPPING’ in Faraday Lane, at the rear of 21 Bay Drive, Meadowbank.
WHAT ARE THE PROPOSED CHANGES?
In order to facilitate service vehicle access (including emergency, waste-collection and removalist vehicles) at the end of Faraday Lane, Council is proposing to install 20 metres of ‘NO STOPPING’ on the north-western side of Faraday Lane.
WHY IS THE CHANGE BEING CONSIDERED?
When cars are parked in Faraday Lane, close to the driveway of 21 Bay Drive, there is insufficient space for service vehicles to access 21 Bay Drive and turn around. Installing 'NO STOPPING' will improve this access, to help emergency, waste-collection and removalist vehicle access.
