Start of construction

Construction is starting on the plaza upgrade. Works will be carried out in two stages:

Stage 1 - Starting 15 October 2018 and scheduled to be completed February 2019 (weather permitting) for landscape, civil and ancillary works which includes:

  • New play space
  • Additional trees and seating
  • Concrete planters
  • Wi-Fi, CCTV and lighting

Stage 2: Starting in February 2019 and scheduled to be completed March 2019 (weather permitting). Works to include:

  • Installation of the shade structure

The hours of work will be from 6:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday.  Every effort will be made to minimise the impact of the works on residents and businesses and property access will be maintained continuously during construction.
