At the Council Meeting in February 2023, Council resolved to adopt the Sportsground Allocation Policy, pending the City of Ryde CEO meeting with Christie Park user groups to come to an agreement regarding synthetic field allocations.

Following the meeting, it was agreed that the synthetic sports field allocations for this winter season would go ahead as a trial and Council would then review the feedback.

As such, Council is undertaking a review of the allocation and use of synthetic sports fields to better understand the challenges and opportunities with managing these spaces now and into the future.

Council would like to hear your thoughts and experiences, and we invite you to provide your feedback.
