Start of construction

Construction is expected to start on Wednesday 17 October 2018, to be completed by mid-November 2018, weather permitting.

Sections of the park will be closed for the duration of the upgrade works. The remainder of the park will remain open.

The upgrade will include the following work:

  • Install new play equipment (including swing, multiplay item with slide climbing net and climbing wall)
  • Construct new footpaths and drainage works
  • Relocate seating
  • Relocate existing spinner play item
  • Planting and other landscaping works
  • Removal of two (2) trees with the replanting of three (3) trees for future shade and amenity
