Boat Ramp Works Commencing July 2021

Following the feedback received, we developed a concept design for the upgrade and provided a community update in late 2020.  We are now pleased to advise that works are due to commence.

WHAT WILL THE WORKS INCLUDE?

The works will include:

  • Widening of the boat ramp to allow for two simultaneous users
  • Car park layout improvements
  • Additional seating and shelters
  • A new fish cleaning table
  • Boat washdown facility

Future works will include the upgrade of the amenities building in its existing location.

The delivery of these boat ramp improvements have been made possible through support from Transport for NSW via the NSW Boating Now Program.

WHEN WILL THE WORKS TAKE PLACE?

Works are scheduled to commence in late July 2021 and are planned for completion in December 2021, weather permitting.

CHANGED CONDITIONS

The boat ramp will be closed for the duration of the works with the jetty to remain accessible at times during the construction. Other alternative boat ramps are available at Melrose Park, Rhodes, Silverwater, Concord and Drummoyne.
