Project Update - Playground Upgrade Opens at Byron Park, Ryde

In November 2022, City of Ryde conducted a Have Your Say for the Byron Park Playground Upgrade seeking community feedback on the draft concept plan.

As part of our Playground Renewal Program, work commenced on the playground upgrade in early 2025.

Council is happy to advise that the work is now complete and the playground upgrade is open for our community to enjoy!

The upgrade includes new timber themed multi activity play equipment with slides, swings including a toddler seat, springer play equipment, nature play items, and a new path through the playground with formal and informal seating.

We welcome you and your family to visit Byron Park and enjoy the new playground!
