Project Update - Anti-litter Mural at Anderson Park, Meadowbank

Community consultation on the Anti-litter Mural at Anderson Park, Meadowbank closed on Sunday 3 July 2022. 

Submissions and feedback received during community consultation has been used to inform the preferred artwork between the two proposed concept options that were inspired by winning artworks from the school art competition.

Results of Community Consultation

Following community consultation, the results indicated a preference of Mural Option 1 - 'Litter harms our natural spaces'

Updated Mural Concept Design

Submissions and feedback provided by the community has be passed directly to Blackbook arthouse, including requests for a closer version of the original children’s art.

Next Steps

The installation of the mural has begun, commencing on Monday 22 August 2022, and expected to be completed by the end of the week, weather permitting.
