Tech Savvy | Introduction to Library Apps

Join us at Ryde Library as we provide an introduction to the smartphone and tablet apps available via the City of Ryde Libraries. Our range of apps can help you manage your library loans and reservations and borrow eBooks, eAudio, eMagazines and eNewspapers. In addition to these an overview will be provided on how to access a variety of online research databases for popular topics. Discover how our online library can be available from anywhere at any time simply by using your library card.

• Hoopla
• IndyReads
• PressReader
• NewsBank and
• Overview of multiple research databases.

Attendees will be required to bring their own smartphone and/or tablet and handouts will be given. Please also bring your Apple ID/Google Play password in case you need it to download any apps demonstrated during the session.
