Visit historic Willandra House, an 1840s Georgian home, for displays of memorabilia of the Ryde District's history from its origins.

Come and see our collection of maps of the Ryde District.

Owned by Ryde City Council, the restored building was opened in 1980 and is home to the Ryde District Historical Society.

You can explore the house and its views of the Parramatta River, see our displays, what’s in our Archives, find the history of your street, watch our Images of Ryde movie and purchase RDHS publications.

Entry and parking is via Willandra Street.

Please note there is no disabled access to Willandra and there are some stairs and uneven surfaces.
