Ryde Band Music in the Mall

Ryde Band's final performance for 2024 will be in Eastwood Plaza on Saturday 21st December. We will of course be performing carols and other Christmas favourites as well as our repertoire of musical medleys, show tunes and popular favourites. Take a break from your shopping and sit and relax to the fesive music in the Plaza.

Supported by The City of Ryde, Ryde Band is a non-profit, community concert band that plays music in venues around the City of Ryde. Like many older, community bands in Sydney, it started its life as a brass band. Ryde Band was founded in 1884 and has performed almost continuously since that time.

Remember, Ryde Band is your community band and always welcomes new members: If you play a musical instrument and are interested in joining the band, talk to our conductor or one of the band members on the day. We even have instruments for hire if you don't have one and want to try before you buy.
