Prevent food waste and save money by learning how to ferment your excess food scraps.

In celebration of World Environment Day, Margaret Mossakowska from Moss House will teach you various fermenting methods using seasonal produce, helping you save money and reduce food waste.

What you will take home:

  • A jar of fermented seasonal produce
  • Information about fermenting techniques
  • Fermenting recipes

Information and recipes will be emailed to you after the workshop.

Equipment

Please bring your own:

  • notepad and pen
  • water and water bottle

This workshop is free and open only to residents of the City of Ryde.
