Join us to celebrate National Reconciliation Week and take a walk down to Brown's Waterhole.

Learn about the local plants and wildlife and be on the lookout for bush tucker plants as you are guided through the bush to Brown's Waterhole.

Learn about the local Indigenous history of the Wallumedegal clan, understand their co-existence with the area and the cultural significance of Brown's Waterhole.

Book in quick as places are strictly limited.

Meeting area for guided walk

Park at the end of Vimiera Road, Marsfield (109 Vimiera Road, Marsfield) and walk past the closed gate and follow the path until you reach the tunnel that runs underneath the M2 motorway.

Suitability

Walking distance is approximately 2 km in duration so a basic level of fitness is required. This walk is conducted on a combination of paths and bush tracks including some uneven ground, grass surfaces, steep slopes and steps so a reasonable level of mobility is required.

This walk is not suitable for strollers, prams or mobility devices.

All children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/carer.

No dogs or pets.

No smoking.

Equipment

Please bring your own water, water bottle and sunscreen.

Clothing

Must be suitable for physical activity. Hats must be worn.

Bring a jacket in the event of inclement weather.

Footwear

Shoes must be sturdy, enclosed, have a non-slip sole and suitable for physical activity.

Thongs, sandals and open toed shoes are not permitted.
