In partnership with Meadowbank TAFE, Ryde Library is providing a course that will give you the basic computer skills you need for work, study, or community. You'll also build confidence by working in a small supportive group.
About the course
This course will run from 28 April to 16 June - except 9 June, which is a public holiday.
Classes are on Mondays, from 10 am to 12 pm.
Topics may include:
- Online safety
- Developing keyboard skills
- Operating a computer
- Searching the internet
- Sending emails
- Filling out online forms
- Creating and formatting Word documents.
Laptops will be provided during the sessions, however you may bring your own laptop.

You can book by phone or in person at Ryde Library. Please note that by booking in you agree to attend all seven sessions.
This training is free to eligible participants.
To be eligible, you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or have a humanitarian visa, and be a City of Ryde library member. Attendees are expected to attend all seven sessions.
