Dragon Boating is a great way to get fit, socialise, and have fun all at the same time.  Join us for a fun morning on the water, once you experience the thrill of racing a dragon boat, we know you are going to be hooked!

What is Dragon Boating?Dragon Boating is a fast and furious, paddle driven water sport that is all about fun, fitness & family. Unlock your inner dragon today! All safety equipment will be provided. All participants must be able to sit upright unassited and trasfer from any walking aid. 

Meeting Point: Kissing Point Park. Kendall Bay side, near Kissing Point Ferry Wharf

Date: Thursday 23 January 2025

Session Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm (arrive at 9:45am)

Suitability: Minimum Age: 10 years old. All attendees found to be under 10 WILL be turned away. Life Jackets will be provided. All participants need to be comfortable in and around water.

Accessibility: This is an accessible venue, with grass and sand surfaces, all participants must transfer into a boat and be able to sit upright unassisted.

It is our duty of care to ensure all participants are effectively able to participate. When registering yourself for Active In Ryde Programs you will be asked to provide any relevant information that will affect your participation. This is to ensure that the appropriate level of care and support can be provided. Where possible all Active In Ryde programs will be held in accessible venues and locations.  Information on accessibility for social Inclusion can be found in the venue Instructions at the top of the page. 

In addition, please be advised:

• Registrations are essential to participate, and in some cases, additional waivers are required.
• It is the responsibility of participants to communicate any medical, physical, intellectual, social or emotional issues prior to participating along with any pre existing injuries or allergies.
• Participants enrol their own risk.
• By attending this event you may be photographed and these images may be used as part of internal and external promotions for the City of Ryde
• Spaces are limited. All bookings must me made via bookable, and will be “first in best dressed” . If your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend, you MUST cancel via bookable as soon as you know you are unable to attend.

How to cancel your booking:

1. Log onto bookable

2. Go to My account (Top Right of Screen)

3. Find the event you wish to cancel and click on the event name.

4. In the middle of the screen click cancel order or cancel ticket.
