Active Kids: Yo Yo Skills/ 5-12yrs / Lyons Park

Yoyos are one of the oldest toys in the world, and can be traced as far back as 2,500 years ago! Come along and learn some fun yoyo skills, including old tricks your mums and dads did as a kid, and new tricks to wow them today!

Today’s session will be split into two groups depending on yoyo experience:

Session 1 is for Yo Yo beginners, where you learn what yoyo's are all about, how to use a yoyo, learn basic skills, and some basic entry level yoyo tricks. No Need to bring your own yoyo

Session 2 is for those who have the basic skills down and want to learn some new, more advanced tricks. You can either bring your own yoyo or one will be provided to you for the lesson. 

Meeting Point: Lyons Park 

Date: Thursday 23 January 2025

Session Time: Session 1: Early Beginners 1:30pm-2:15 and Session 2: 2:30pm-3:15pm

Accessibility: This is an accessible venue, with smooth surfaces, all are welcome.

• Registrations are essential to participate, and in some cases, additional waivers are required.
• It is the responsibility of participants to communicate any medical, physical, intellectual, social or emotional issues prior to participating along with any pre existing injuries or allergies.
• Participants enrol their own risk.
• By attending this event you may be photographed, and these images may be used as part of internal and external promotions for the City of Ryde
• Spaces are limited. All bookings must me made via bookable, and will be “first in best dressed” . If your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend, you MUST cancel via bookable as soon as you know you are unable to attend.

How to cancel your booking:

1. Log onto bookable
2. Go to My account (Top Right of Screen)
3. Find the event you wish to cancel and click on the event name.
4. In the middle of the screen click cancel order or cancel ticket.
