The Cork and Fork Festival will be bustling with activities and large crowds are expected over the day. To fully enjoy the event, we advise planning your trip in advance.

On this page, you’ll find essential information on parking, walking and cycling, accessible drop-off zones, and important road closures to help with traffic management and safety.

Parking

As parking in Cleves Park is limited, we would recommend using public transport as your primary option.

Public parking is available on surrounding streets and time restrictions apply.

Walk or cycle

If you live nearby, or prefer to get some exercise, you may want to walk or cycle to the event.

The Cork and Fork Festival encourages walkers and cyclists. Please check the distance and route options using your preferred map supplier.

Accessible drop-off zone

If you have a mobility parking permit and require close access to the event, use our drop-off zone along Douglas Street located on the map. There is also limited mobility parking located within Cleves Park.

Shop Ryder event shuttle bus

Two event shuttle buses will be available for use throughout the day 10:00 am till 4:00 pm.

Running every 15 minutes, the shuttle buses will make stops at:

  • Meadowbank Bus Stop
  • Putney Shops
  • and Kissing Point Park.

Train

You can make your way to the festival via train, stopping at Meadowbank Station.

This stop will be served by our festival shuttle bus, taking you to and from the event every 15 minutes between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Meadowbank Station is located on the Main Northern line.

Ferry

Kissing Point Ferry Wharf is located at the southern end of the event site.

Important road closures

Road closure and traffic changes will be in effect along Waterview Street between Douglas Street and Charles Street from 7:00 am Saturday 18 May to 6:00 pm Saturday 18 May - or until it is safe to re-open.
