Where is Cork & Fork being held?

City of Ryde’s 2025 Cork & Fork event is being held on Sunday 12 May at Kissing Point Park, Putney from 10am till 4pm.

Is entry free?

Entry is free. If you wish to purchase alcohol from one of our stallholders, you must purchase a Festival Glass for $10 from the Festival Information Stall.

Are the tastings free?

This is up to the discretion of each stallholder. Beverage Stallholders have been encouraged to provide event patrons with free tastings prior to purchasing.

What’s the alcohol service time?

Patrons may purchase alcohol from providers between 10am till 3:30pm. Attendees may purchase from stallholders for takeaway sales till 4pm.

How can I purchase a drink inside the event?

Once a branded Festival Glass is purchased from the Festival Information Stall. You can then purchase a glass of your choice at any of the participating beverage stallholders.

Can you BYO alcohol to the event?

No, patrons are not allowed to bring their own alcohol to the event. Drinks must be purchased from one of the licensed & approved beverage stallholders.

Is there food available?

There will be a selection of food options to purchase from. Food Trucks are located along Waterview Road and other hot food options can be found on the grass area near Yaralla Road (near the fish sculpture).

What should I bring?

  • Photo ID
  • Suitable clothes for weather on the day
  • Eftpos/ Credit Card
  • Picnic Rug or low-lying chair
  • Reusable water bottle & bag

Can we bring dogs?

Yes, small to medium size dogs are allowed within the event area. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and is the responsibility of the owner to ensure the dog does not impact.

Can I bring my children?

Yes, you can there are a variety of kid’s activities available on the day. All Children under 17 years of age must always be companied by an adult.

Do you have ATMS onsite?

No, there will be no ATMs onsite to provide cash out. If you wish to bring cash, please arrange before coming to the venue. All stallholders will have a cashless payment option available. 

Is there seating available?

There will be limited seating available on the day.  We encourage all patrons to BYO low lying chair or picnic rugs.

Can you smoke onsite?

No, smoking or vaping onsite is not permitted.

Can I bring my pram to the event?

Yes, but please be considerate of where you are placing your pram to not obstruct walkways or view of entertainment for other patrons.

Can I bring my own food?

Although we do not encourage this, you may bring your own food. Please make sure you discard all your rubbish at the end of the day.

What happens with any photos or videos that might be taken of me whilst I am at the event?

We will have a photographer at the event. Photographs taken at the event may be used in future for promotional purposes.

What happens in case of inclement weather?

City of Ryde Events Team will monitor the weather leading up to the event and will notify the public of any updates via the City of Ryde website and Facebook page.
