Getting there

To fully enjoy the event, we advise planning your trip in advance. Here you’ll find essential information on public transport and parking. Stay informed about the festival by following us on Facebook and Instagram.

Public Transport | Train and Bus

Hop on the bus or train and get to the event. You can find more information including timetables and routes at Transport NSW Trip Planner.

Parking

Parking is limited, so we recommend using public transport as your primary option. Public parking is available on surrounding streets or within Meadowbank Park parking bays.

Walk or Cycle

Walk or Cycle if you live nearby or prefer to get some exercise, Australia Day Celebrations encourages walkers and cyclists to the event. Please check the distance and route options using your preferred map supplier.

Disability Drop Off Zone

If you have a mobility parking permit and require close access to the festival, use our Drop-Off Zone, entry is via Rose Smith Ave on the map. There is also limited mobility parking located within Meadowbank Park parking lot.
