Storm assistance for our community

Until power is restored, and to support residents affected by the storms, amenities blocks including showers are open at Eastwood Park Upper (until 6 pm), Ryde Park 1 (until 6 pm) and Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre (until 5.45pm). Residents are also encouraged to use our Libraries to recharge devices and access internet. Ryde Library is open 9 am-9 pm Monday - Thursday.

Australia Day Public Holiday

City of Ryde Council, including the Customer Service Centre and all Libraries will be closed for the Australia Day public holiday, Monday 27 January 2025 (observed). The Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre will be open from 9 am to 5.45 pm.
For urgent enquires during this time, call 9952 8222 (24/7). Non-urgent requests can be logged online.

Workshops

Drop-in Weaving Session

Time: 4 pm - 8:30 pm
Age: All Ages

Join us at the Koori Kinnections Craft workshop for a drop-in weaving session. Facilitators will guide you in creating your own bracelet. Explore a touch table featuring traditional resources, and feel free to ask any questions!

Craft and Cooking Workshop

Time: 4 pm - 8 pm
Age: Children

Children can participate in our craft and cookie making workshop. They’ll have the chance to decorate their own Aussie themed mask or decorate a cookie of our favourite Aussie animals the Koala and Echidna!

Please note children must be supervised at all times.

All Food Attendants have undertaken Food Handler training as required by the Australia Food Standards Code.
All participants in this activity do so at their own risk. Parents and guardians are encouraged to check ingredient information at the registration desk to ensure safety and accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions.
