Storm assistance for our community

Until power is restored, and to support residents affected by the storms, amenities blocks including showers are open at Eastwood Park Upper (until 6 pm), Ryde Park 1 (until 6 pm) and Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre (until 5.45pm). Residents are also encouraged to use our Libraries to recharge devices and access internet. Ryde Library is open 9 am-9 pm Monday - Thursday.

Australia Day Public Holiday

City of Ryde Council, including the Customer Service Centre and all Libraries will be closed for the Australia Day public holiday, Monday 27 January 2025 (observed). The Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre will be open from 9 am to 5.45 pm.
For urgent enquires during this time, call 9952 8222 (24/7). Non-urgent requests can be logged online.

Spikeball

Join Spikeball Australia at City of Ryde’s Australia Day event to learn how to play or to have the opportunity to play against other seasoned players. Several nets will be set out so there will be an opportunity for all to get involved.

Time: 4 pm - 8:30 pm
Cost: Free Entry
Ages: All

Each activity at the Australia Day event has entry requirements, with some activities having specific recommendations for those with medical conditions.

Please review entry conditions and adhere to staff instructions.

While activities operate in the rain, extreme weather like strong winds, lightning or extreme heat may require a temporary/ permanent closure.
