Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteering is a very rewarding experience. One of the aims of the River to River Corridors project is to empower local community to become aware of and participate in biodiversity enhancement within their local area, through hands on project engagement.
It will provide to interested community members an introduction to the vegetation communities, species and ecosystems of the project area by specialists in bushcare. This enables connectivity between residents to network and share ideas, thoughts and knowledge in a fun activity outdoors whilst restoring native bushland.
How can you get involved?
- School group planting days with River to River
- Participate in National Tree Day
- Contact us with your community group for a specialised planting day
- Participate in backyard habitat restoration & plantings education days in the local area as organised by River to River project team
- Donate 2 hours of time to a River to River bushcare site with one of our groups
