Community Newsletter
The State of the Environment Community Newsletters were published by Council. It highlighted sustainable projects and outlined case studies of Council's achievements. It also provided tips and information to help you learn about sustainability and how you can participate in activities that help protect your natural environment.

Regional State of the Environment Report (RSoER)
The Regional State of the Environment Report (RSoER) for 2011 - 2012 has been produced by the Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (NSROC).
The report includes the local government areas of Hornsby Shire, Hunter’s Hill, Ku-ring-gai, North Sydney, Lane Cove, City of Ryde and Willoughby. The RSoER provides the community with key information on the state of the 'environment' in terms of its current condition, the pressures on it, the drivers of those pressures and management initiatives in place to address environmental concerns, and the impacts of those initiatives.
