Lawn maintenance at Rockend Cottage

The historic Rockend Cottage is one of City of Ryde's most important heritage-listed properties.

The cottage is situated at Banjo Paterson Park, Gladesville, amid impressive grounds and lawns which require maintenance.

The City of Ryde would like to acknowledge Nathan Stafford from Nathan's Lawns and Gardens for assisting Council's tenant at Rockend Cottage to maintain the lawns of this historic heritage location, which was home to the famous Australian writer and poet Andrew Barton ('Banjo') Paterson in the 1870s.

Council thanks Nathan for supporting the tenant in helping him maintain this unique property.
