The City of Ryde is aware of an investigation by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) into an environmental consultant in relation to allegations of falsified sampling results in a number of environmental reports across NSW.

Three affected properties have been identified in the Ryde LGA, including two childcare centres.

It is important to note that no immediate risks to public health and safety have been identified by the EPA.

The City of Ryde is in contact with the EPA and is working collaboratively with them to assist in their investigation.

Further information can be found on the EPA website.
