The Rural Fire Service has notified the City of Ryde that the Draft Hunters Hill, Lane Cove, Parramatta and Ryde Bush Fire Risk Management Plan (the Plan) has been endorsed.

The Plan is a strategic document that identifies community assets that may be at risk from bush fire and treatments to reduce that risk over a 5 year period. Typical treatments include a combination of fuel management, ignition prevention and community preparedness.

The document, accompanying maps and additional information are available at the NSW Rural Fire Service website
