2024 Council Elections

The Local Government elections were held on Saturday 14 September 2024.

The elections were administered by the NSW Electoral Commission and voting was compulsory for people enrolled in the City of Ryde Local Government Area.

Election of Mayor

On Saturday, 14 September 2024, in conjunction with the Council Elections, City of Ryde voters received an additional ballot paper where they elected the Mayor for a four (4) year term.

Become a Councillor

Registrations of candidates and groups closed at 12noon on Wednesday 14 August 2024.

Non-Residential Rolls

The non-resident roll for the upcoming Local Government Election closed at 6.00pm Monday 5 August 2024.
