Community Participation and Recreation

Ability Links NSW supports people with a disability (aged 9 - 64 years), their families and carers. A co-ordinator ("Linker") can help participants plan for their future, build on their strengths and skills and develop networks within the community. Daily Living Support

Achieve Australia provides a range of disability services including employment support, accommodation and day-to-day living assistance, clinical services and support coordination.

Easy Care Gardening delivers a subsidised gardening service for eligible people with disability.

MND NSW provides information, support and education for people living with motor neurone disease, their families, friends and carers.

New Horizons offers independent living skills, personal care and domestic assistance, support co-ordination, and behavioral and clinical support.

Royal Rehab delivers supported accommodation services, as well as lifestyle support including attendant care, respite care, community nursing and complex support co-ordination.

Sydney Community Services provides group and individual community participation programs, as well as home nursing, podiatry, medical transport, home delivered meals, gardening, shopping and linen services.

Shop Ryder is a free bus service offered by the City of Ryde. Running from Wednesday to Saturday from 8.30 am - 2.00 pm, it’s a great way to do your shopping, get to appointments or travel to Meadowbank, West Ryde or Eastwood Stations. Ph: 9952 8222.
