Transition to School
Starting school is a big milestone for children and their families. This transition between learning environments can be both challenging and exciting, and there are many different programs and activities that schools, services, and families are involved with that are designed to support the transition process. Northern Sydney Local Health District have developed a Supporting the Transition to School video series. Topics include fine and gross motor skills, developmental milestones and support, practicing gross motor skills at home, practicing find motor skills at home and developing independence and self-care skills.
